"In my experience they have extremely knowledgeable (and caring) Nurse Practitioners (especially Ananda Cronin) who stay very informed about recent trends in medicine and are very helpful in directing people to resources on the internet that might help them understand their ailments. I've never had a situation where Ananda has not shown understanding and a willingness to prescribe medication if the situation warrants it. I leave the decision on whether its warranted to her though - my philosophy is not to come into the appointment ready to tell her what I need - I'd rather her tell me what I need because that's her role and experience."
