Southern Albemarle Family Practice is closed July 14th due to a power outage.Since we began in 1970, Central Virginia Health Services has been providing accessible and affordable healthcare to underserved populations. Today, over 48,000 people access CVHS sites for medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. We take most major insurance plans and offer a sliding fee (discount) for those who need it. Lack of insurance or money should not prevent you from getting the health care you need.
Our providers focus health care on you, the patient. Health promotion, learning what lifestyle changes you can make to become healthier; chronic disease management, including affordable medications; testing for diseases so that early detection can perhaps save your life; patient education so that you can better understand your health condition--all of these services are part of our commitment to you.
We invite you to meet our providers, review our programs and site location, and learn more about CVHS community health centers through this website. Come see how we transform lives through exceptional healthcare.
Although the enrollment period for 2014 has ended, we are still able to assist those who qualify for a special circumstance enrollment.
Enrollment for 2015 will begin November 15, 2014.
